News : Dubrovnik: future European Capital of Culture?
News homeAt the meeting with the mayor in Pécs, Hungary Dubrovnik's mayor Andro Vlahušić discussed the European Capital of Culture project. Vlahušić mentioned that besides being labeled as a tourist destination they wished the city could also have the tag of a cultural and educated place - a European Capital of Culture.
Together with Essen in Germany and Turkey's Istanbul Pécs, Hungary is a European Capital of Culture in year 2010.
