News : Police telephone number changed to 192 in Croatia
News homeTo meet the international standard of three character long telephone number for emergency services, Croatia changed its police call numbers from the old 92 to the new 192 on June 3, 2010.
Parts of the problem with the old number were that some old cell phones couldn't call the old number and similar problems occurred with foreign operators.
The old number remains operational until October 31, 2011 to allow a grace period for the change.
