News : List and map of Croatia's Blue Flag beaches for 2011 now available
News homeFEE, the international organization awarding the Blue Flag label has published its 2011 list of beaches. For the third time, CroaRiva, information site about Croatia's Adriatic coast, has put the beaches on the map.
Compared to last year's list there are new entries and dropped beaches. Lokva Rogoznica (Artina), Medulin (Bijeca), Rijeka (Ploče/Kantrida), Split (Žnjan), Starigrad-Paklenica (Hotel Alan) and Umag (Laguna Stella Maris) are the ones that entered the prestigious list this year. Lopar's Rajska/Crnika, Podstrana's Hotel Le Meridien Lav, Šimuni's Camp Šimuni and Savudrija's (Umag's) Skiper Resort lost their blue flags.
With the current update Blueflag.org introduced their maps of beaches, the locations aren't, however, always precise. CroaRiva's map of Blue Flag beaches displays the exact locations.
